Or walk along the creek at low tide to the nature reserve at Scolt Head Island. For the less energetic, wait for high tide and catch the ferry (Summer only).
The delightful Georgian village of Burnham Market is just a mile away offering a wide range of outstanding food, gift and clothing shops.
Nelson’s birthplace at Burnham Thorpe is home to the excellent Lord Nelson pub and the church is well worth a visit.
Traditional seaside attractions at Wells-next-the-Sea, with its picturesque colourful beach-huts, is only 5 miles away.
Great bird-watching all along the coast including at nearby RSPB reserve of Titchwell Marsh.
